In 2025 the lunar calendar marks the Year of the Snake.
Wise, intelligent, independent, and charming, the snake is said to bestow many positive characteristics on people born during its years of influence - including 2025, 2013, 2001, 1989, 1977, 1965 and 1953.
The Perth Mint will release no more than 3,000 of the Year of the Snake Rotating Charm 1oz Silver AntiquedCoin.
Design
The coin incorporates a rotating gold-plated sterling silver bead resembling a coiled snake. It is surrounded by a representation of two snakes among stylised foliage. Also included is The Perth Mint's 'P' mintmark, and 2025 year-date. The coin has been individually 'antiqued' to give it a unique finish conveying the surface abrasions of an ancient artefact. As a result of this treatment the appearance of each coin may vary.
Presentation
Accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity, the coin comes in a classic display case with a clear lid, and the distinctive Rotating Charm Series black and red shipper.
