The Perth Mint will release no more than 200 of the Australian Kangaroo Series 2025 2oz Gold Proof High Relief Coin.

Design

This high relief coin has been struck with an extra-deep blank to showcase its superbly detailed design. 

The coin's reverse portrays a kangaroo lying on the ground, a restful position that helps it conserve energy during the hottest part of the day. A bounding kangaroo and a grass tree appear in the background.

As well as the inscription 'KANGAROO’, the design includes the coin’s weight, purity, 2025 year-date, and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.

Presentation

Accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity, the coin comes in classic display case with a clear lid, and a beautiful coloured kangaroo on the shipper.
