The Perth Mint will release no more than 500 of the Australian Kangaroo Series 2025 1/4oz Gold Proof Coin.

Design

The coin's reverse portrays a kangaroo lying on the ground, a restful position that helps it conserve energy during the hottest part of the day. A bounding kangaroo and a grass tree appear in the background. As well as the inscription 'KANGAROO’, the design includes the coin’s weight, purity, 2025 year-date, and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.

Presentation

Accompanied by a numbered certificate of authenticity, the coin comes in classic display case with a clear lid, and a beautiful coloured kangaroo on the shipper.
